A fraction is such that if the numerator is multiplied by 3 and the denominator is reduced by 3, we get 18/11, but if the numerator is increased by 8 and the denominator is doubled, we get 2/5. Form the linear equations.

According to the given question , 3x/y-3=18/11 and x+8/2y=2/5 .
find the value of y from the second equation in terms of x . Put tht value of y in the first equation . 

Solve the equation , u will find the value of x and then put the value of x in y.

U will get both the values .
