A frog falls into a well that is 18
ft deep. Every day the frog jumps
up a total distance of 6 ft. At night,
as the frog grips the slimy well
walls, it slips back down by 2 ft.
At this rate, how many days will it
take the frog to jump to the rim of
the well?

Answer: 4.5 days

Step-by-step explanation:

Frog falls into a well 18ft deep.

During the day the frog jumps up 6ft. At night drops 2ft.

So total distance in 1 day = 4ft

Therefore 18/4 = 4.5

Hope this helps!
