Answer: After 5 jumps on 6th jump

Step-by-step explanation:

As it is stated in the question that the frog jumps 3 meters and comes down a single meter everytime he jumps.

So, in every jump he will cover the distance of two meters and with that in the fifth jump he will be at the distance of ten meters.

In the sixth jump, he will be out of the well so, he won't slip down a single meter in that jump.

So, he will take only 6 jumps to jump out of the well he is stuck in.

Answer: After 5 jumps on 6th jump

Step-by-step explanation:

The frog jumps 3 metres and comes down a single metre every time he jumps, as mentioned in the question.

So, in each jump, he will cross a two-meter distance, and by the fifth jump, he will have covered a ten-meter distance.

He will be out of the well in the sixth jump, therefore he will not drop a single metre in that jump.

So he'll only need six jumps to get out of the well he's stuck in.
