While eating food, you spill some curry on your white shirt. You immediately scrub it with soap. What happens to its yellow colour on scrubbing with soap. why? what happens to this stain when the shirt is washed with plenty of water?

when is the soap in rubbed it will react with the turmeric which is a indicator present in the food to form a reddish brown colour material in the shirt. If we wash the cloth again with the plenty of water the basic soap solution will removed and the stain turn into yellow.
