Frog Jump =3 m

Fall back by 1m

Distance travelled in one jump 2 m

So 12m / 2m = 6

So on 6th jump he will be out

frogs jump = 5m

Fall back by = 4m

Distance travelled in one jump 1 m = ( 5 - 4 )

time it takes to come out = the wells depth / distance it travels every jump

= 20 / 1 = 20 hours

so it will take 20 hours for the frog to come out

hope t helps you
