A frog, which is at the bottom of a 50 m deep well, is trying to come out of it. In every jump it covers 1.25 m but slips 0.75 m. In how many jumps it would come out of the well

length of the well =50m

the frog at the bottom of the well

every jump covers =1.25m-0.75m=0.50m

jumps required to come out from the well =50m/0.50m=100

so after 100 jumps the frog reaches at the top of the well.
