Dozens Of Apple Bought = 300/12 = 25

Total Cost = 50*25 = 1250

SP Of 200 = 50/10 = Rs 5 Per Apple

SP Of 200 = 5 * 200 = 1000

To Gain 12% On Whole SP Required = 1250+12/100 * 1250 = Rs 1400

Remaining Amount = 1400-1000 = 400

Remaining Apples = 100

SP = 400/100 = Rs 4 Per Apple Or Rs 48 Per Dozen

Given,

Cost price = Rs. 50 per 12 apples

Total apples bought = 300

Selling price =Rs. 50 per 10 apples

Total apple sold = 200

To Find,

The rate per Apple at which the fruit seller sell the remaining Apple to make an overall profit of 12 % =?

Solution,

The cost price of 1 apple(CP) = Rs. 50 /12

The cost price of 300 apples(CP)  = (50 *300 )/ 12

The cost price of 300 apples(CP)  = Rs. 1250

Profit of 12% would be 12% of CP

Profit of 12%  = (12/100) * 1250

Profit of 12%  =  Rs. 150

SP required to get 12% profit = 1250 + 150 = Rs. 1400

Current SP of 200 apples = (50 * 200) / 10

Current SP of 200 apples = Rs. 1000

Price of 100 left apple = 1400 - 1000 = Rs. 400

Price of 1 apple = 400/100 = Rs. 4

Hence, the fruit seller should sell the remaining Apple at the rate of Rs 4 per Apple to make an overall profit of 12%.
