Given :-

• 480 ᴏʀᴀɴɢᴇs ᴀᴛ ʀᴜᴘᴇᴇs 18 ᴘᴇʀ ᴅᴏᴢᴇɴ ʜᴇ sᴏʟᴅ ᴛʜᴇᴍ ᴀᴛ ᴀ ɢᴀɪɴ ᴏғ 15% .

Find :-

ᴛʜᴇ sᴇʟʟɪɴɢ ᴘʀɪᴄᴇ ᴏғ 100 ᴏʀᴀɴɢᴇs .

Solution :-

ᴛʜᴇ ᴄᴏsᴛ ᴘʀɪᴄᴇ ᴏғ 12 ᴏʀᴀɴɢᴇs = ʀs. 18

ᴛʜᴇ ᴄᴏsᴛ ᴘʀɪᴄᴇ ᴏғ 1 ᴏʀᴀɴɢᴇ = ʀs . 18/12 = ʀs. 1.5

ᴘʀᴏғɪᴛ % = 15%

ᴛʜᴇ sᴇʟʟɪɴɢ ᴘʀɪᴄᴇ ғᴏʀᴍᴜʟᴀ :-

SP =  \frac{100 + \: Percentage }{100} \times  CP

 =  \frac{100 + 15 }{100}  \times 1.5

Rs  \: 1.725
