Heya mate !!! How are you ??

Here is the solution of your question:-

Question :-

A fruit seller buys oranges at 4 for rupees 3 and sells them at 3 for rupees 4 . find his profit %

Solution :-

CP of 4 oranges = Rs. 3

CP of 1 orange = 3/4

SP of 3 oranges = Rs. 4

SP of 1 orange = 4/3

Profit = 4/3 - 3/4

=> 16-9/12

=> 7/12

Profit = Rs. 7/12

Profit % = ( profit / CP × 100 ) %

=> ( 7/12 ÷ 3/4 × 100)%

=> (7/12 × 4/3 × 100)%

=> (28/36 × 100)%

=> (2800/36) %

=> (1400/18)%

=> (700/9)%

=> 77.78%

Answer :-

The fruit seller made a profit of 77.78%
