a fruit seller purchase some fruits. later he found that 15 percent of the fruits were rotten he sold 60 percent of the fruits he is left with 34 fruits find total fruit he purchased

Let the total no.of fruits Purchased be 'x'

out of 15% are rotten = x×15% = x×15/100= 0.15x

out of 60% are sold = x×60% = x×60/100= 0.60x

Remaining Percentage left= 100 - 60 - 15= 25%

Remaining fruits left = 34

So total no.of fruits will be 34/25% = 34/(25/100)= 136

RohitSaketi: 60% fruits were sold..here fruits means rotten fruits or total fruits?? .. by looking at that question ..it is normal Fruits..so i got this answer.. if its rotten fruits then an othet will come..mistake is in ur question..
