Step-by-step explanation:

1 dozen = 12 bananas , 1 dozen = ₹15

=> 1200 bananas = 100 dozens = ₹1500------------(1)

a) sold 800 bananas at 2 bananas for ₹4

=> 1 banana =₹2 =>800 bananas =₹1600--------(2)

b)sold remaining (=1200 bananas - 800 bananas = 400 bananas) at ₹8 for 5 bananas each:

5 bananas = ₹ 8

=>1 banana = ₹8/5

=>400 bananas = ₹ 640 ----------(3)

From (2) and (3):

Total selling price =₹1600+₹640 =₹2240 ------(4)

Total cost price (From (1)) =₹1500

profit =SP-CP =₹740

profit% = profit/CP×100

=>740/1500*100

=49.33%
