Answer:

The ratio of the selling price of orange to apple is 3:5.

Step-by-step explanation:

Here, the selling price of the orange = rs 100 per score,

Since, 1 score of oranges = 20 oranges,

⇒ The price of 20 oranges = 100 rupees

⇒ The price of 1 orange = 5 rupees,

Now, The selling price of the apple = rs 100 per dozen,

Since, 1 dozen of apples = 12 apples,

⇒ The price of 12 apples = 100 rupees,

⇒ The price of 1 apple = \frac{100}{12} = 25/3 rupees,

Hence, the ratio of price of one orange and apple,

= \frac{5}{25/3}

=\frac{15}{25}

=\frac{3}{5}

⇒ The ratio of the selling price of orange to apple is 3:5.
