A fruit vendor goes to a wholesale market and picks up 2 dozen apples for ₹600 from the shop, 1 and a half dozen apples of ₹26 each from another shop.How much did he pay for each apple? ​

⇒ 2(12) apples ⇒ Rs 600−−−(1)

and 1.5(12) apples ⇒ Rs 26 each−−−−(2)

from (1), 1, apple =A1= 600/24  = 25

                            A2=26

  average= A1 + A2/ 2

                = 25+26/2

                =  51/2

                =   25.5  rupees
