a fruit vendor sells 11 mangoes for Rupee at incurs 10% loss. at what rate should the mangoes be sold to get a profit of 10%?

Answer:


Sp of 11 fruit=1


Sp of 1 fruit =1/11


Given, by this loss=10%


So when cp= 100 sp=90


90=1/11


110=1/11×1/90×110=1/9


(10% profit means cp 100 sp 110)


So in order to gain 10% he has to sell 9 fruit for a rupee.
