 \frac{144}{6}  \times 100 = 2400

Profit of 65%

Profit of 65%If 2400 = 100%

Profit of 65%If 2400 = 100%? = 165%

 \frac{2400 \times 165}{100}  = 3960.(selling \: price)

Let the number sold for every three be x

Let the number sold for every three be xThe number sold for every two is 144 – x

s.p)  \frac{x}{3}  \times 72 +  \frac{144 - x}{2}  \times 60

= 24+30(144−)=3960

= 24+30(144−)=396024+4320−30=3960

= 24+30(144−)=396024+4320−30=396024−30=3960−4320

 \frac{ - 6x}{6}  =  \frac{ - 360}{ - 6}

=60

=60So the pineapples sold at sh. 72 for every three were 60.
