let the fruitseller started with x fruits.
so, for the first time,
he sold (x/2+4) fruits.
so, remaining fruits = x/2 -4.
so, for the second time,
he sold (x/2 - 4)/2+4 fruits.
= x/4 - 2 +4 fruits.
= x/4 +2 fruits.
so, remaining fruits =x/2 -4 -x/4 -2
=x/4 -6
so, x/4 -6 =0
=>x=24.
so, the fruitseller had 24 fruits atfirst.
