Electromagnet is used in electric fan. Is it true? Explain. One of the important components of an electric bell are an armature. What is an armature? What is its role in an electric bell? What is mean by voltage difference? kindly explain this in simple terms and words, also if possible give examples. What is resistance? what makes the metals to get varied resistance? kindly explain.

An electromagnet is a temporary magnet produced by current flowing through a solenoid with soft iron core. The magnetic field remains only when the current is flowing, in absence of current it has no magnetic effect.
