Resistance of Galvanometer (G) = 3663 ohm.

Suppose, the resistance of the Shunt = S.

Now, if the total current in the circuit = I Ampere.

Then, Magnitude of the current passing through the galvanometer = Ig = (x/34) Ampere.

Now,

Because, S = { Ig / ( I - Ig) }G

S = { x/34 / ( x - x/34 ) } 3663

S = { 3663 × x/34 } / 33x/34

S = {3663 × x } / 33x

S = 3663 / 33

S = 111 ohm..........●

Thus, Resistance of Shunt = S = 111 ohm.....●

Answer:

111 ohm

Explanation:Resistance of Galvanometer (G) = 3663 ohm.

Suppose, the resistance of the Shunt = S.

Now, if the total current in the circuit = I Ampere.

Then, Magnitude of the current passing through the galvanometer = Ig = (x/34) Ampere.

Now,

Because, S = { Ig / ( I - Ig) }G

S = { x/34 / ( x - x/34 ) } 3663

S = { 3663 × x/34 } / 33x/34

S = {3663 × x } / 33x

S = 3663 / 33

S = 111 ohm
