Answer:

Perimeter = 2(100+80)

= 2×180

= 360 m

No. of posts required = 360÷5 = 72

Length = 72×2 = 144m

Answer:

144 meter

Step-by-step explanation:

For the garden (rectangle)

breadth = 80 m

length = 100 m

Perimeter

= 2(length + breadth) m

= 2(100 + 80) m

= 2(180) m

= 360 m

Given,

A post is made after every 5 meter to hold the wire.

No of posts

= perimeter/5

= 360/5

= 72

Total length of the pipe for the posts

= No of post x length of each post

= (72 x 2) m

= 144 m
