A garden , 100 m long and 80 m wide is to be fenced with wires . To hold the wires a post is to be fixed after 5 meter of fence . If each post is 2 m long , find the total length of the pipe for the post required ​

Perimeter of garden = 2(L+B)

                                  = 2(100m+80m)

                                  = 2*180m

                                  = 360 m

No. of poles = Perimeter / Distance between each posts

                     = 360m / 5m

                     = 72 posts

Total length of pipe required for making posts

                                                           = Length of one post x No. of posts

                                                           = 2m*72

                                                           = 144 m

Ans. The required length of pipe is 144 metres.
