Answer:

Length of garden

Breadth of garden

Width of path

Outer length

Outer breadth

Area of path = area of outer rectangle - area of inner rectangle

Hence, area of rectangle 1= 1750 m^21 Now,

Area of path Length of garden

Breadth of garden

Width of path

Outer length

Area of path = area of outer rectangle - area of inner rectangle

Hence, area of rectangle 1= 1750 m^21 Now,

Area of path in

Area of garden

Length= 90m

Breadth= 50m

Area of the garden

=90m x som = 4500m2

Length of the garden including path

=90m + Sm + Sm = IOOm

Breadth of the garden including path

=50m + Sm + Sm = 60m

Area of the garden including path = IOOm x 60m = 6000m2

Area of the path

= 6000m2 - 4500m2 = 1500m2

Hence, the required area of path= 1500m2 and area of garden = 4500m2

(ii) Area of path = 1500m2

Cost of Cementing per m2 = *250

Cost of Cementing in total path = 1500m2 x

?250

= for 1500m2

(i) Area of Path = 1500m2

(ii) Cost of Cementing the path = ₹3,75,000
