a gardener has 1000 plants he want plant in such away that the number if rows and the number ofcolums remain same find the minimum number of plants he need more for this

If the number of rows and numbers of column remain same (equal)then the total number of plants will be in the form of a perfect square.

As 1000 is not a perfect square ,we need to check above and nearest perfect square to 1000.


Hence ,the gardener needs 24 more plants.
