first find the L.C.M of 6,8,10,12
2 |6,8,10,12
3 |3,4,5,6
2 |1,4,5,2
2 |1,2,5,1
5 |1,1,5,1
|1,1,1,1 least common multiple of 6,8,10,12 is 2×3×2×2×5=60. As he left with 5 plants in each case , 60+5 can be number of plants with him as it is divisible by 13. So number of plants with him =65.
Hope it helps you...
