A gardner wants to fence a circular garden of diameter 42m. Find the length of the barbed wire he needs to purchase, if he makes 3 rounds of the fence

This is your answer.....

Given :::

Diameter = 42 m.
Radius = D/2 = 21 m.

We have to find the length of circular garden.

So....
We will obtain perimeter....
P of Circle = 2 × 22/7 × 21
= 6 × 22
= 132 m.

Hence the length of boundary is 132 m.


But the gardener takes three round od the fence...
So length of wire needed = 3× 132
= 396 m.

Hence the length of wire needed is 396 m

here radius is taken as diameter so we have to half the main answer as radius is half of the diameter. So answer is 396m wire is to be purchased .
