Step 1 :

Construct a table and put the given value in the table in appropriate places

No. of Gardeners       1             X

Time required           30           15

Step 2 :

Now if the number of gardeners will increase then the time to weed the garden will decrease Therefore the Quantity 1 is increasing then the quantity 2 is decreasing

So,the number of gardeners in inversely proportional to the time required

Step 3 :

Use the formula and solve :

x1*y1=x2*y2

1*30=x*15

30=15x

x=30/15

x=2
