The S.P. of the shirt = ₹{1250-(1250×10/100)}

                               = ₹ (1250-125)

                                = ₹ 1025

Let. the C.P. be ,"c"

∴ 25% of c = (c × 25/100)

                  = c/4

∴ S.P. = c+(c/4)

           = (4c+c)/4

           = 5c/4

By condition,

5c/4 = 1025

⇒5c = (1025×4)

⇒c= 4100/5

⇒c=820

∴The cost price of the shirt is ₹820
