Answer: The remaining provision will be consume in 24 days

Step-by-step explanation: first of all ,the answer for this question is different from the answer for the question seen in the picture. It has only the no. of days and no. of men but in this question there is consumption (provision)

The consumption could be define as  (no. of men * no. of days)

i.e  120*30 = 3600  ( this is also the total provision)

therefore ,the total provision for 120 men in 5 days is

120 X 5 = 600

the remaining provision after 5th day is 3600 - 600 = 3000

now 5 men join.   i.e   120 + 5 = 125

the remaining provision should satisfy 125 men

note that days*men=consumption

so, days X 125 = 3000

    days = 3000/125 = 24 days
