From the combined gas lass

V ∝ (T/P)

The volume of a given amount of a gas is proportional to the ratio of its kelvin temperature and its presure.

therefore we can say that

(PV)/T = Constant

∴ (P1 V1 ) / T1 = ( P2 V2 ) / T2

  ⇒ ( P1 V1 ) / 1173 = ( P1/2 V1/2) / T ( Tempersture given 900 C ° , we have to convert it into kelvin )

T2 = 293.25 K

   = 20.25 C°

Answer:When the pn junction diode is forward biased width of the depletion region reduces and becomes zero. Width of the depletion region disappears when voltage across diode reaches knee voltage. Hence diode acts as a closed switch and conducts
