A pedestal is an architectural support for a column, statue, vase, or the like. A statue is a carved or cast figure of a person or animal, especially one that is life-size or larger. A boy visited a museum. A museum is an institution that cares for (conserves) a collection of artifacts and other objects of artistic, cultural, historical, or scientific importance. Many public museums make these items available for public viewing through exhibits that may be permanent or temporaryHe saw a statue, 1.6 m tall, stands on the top of a pedestal. He observes from a point on the ground, the angle of elevation of the top of the statue is  and from the same point the angle of elevation of the top of the pedestal is  such that tan2 = cot(1500– 3) and sec4 = (1350–5). Find the height of the pedestal.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Tan2a= cot(150°-3a)

So, 90°-2a = 150°-3a

a= 60°

Also given that, sec4b= cosec(135°-5b)

90°-4b=135° - 5b

B=45°

Then tan45° =h/x

h=x

Tan 60°= (h+1.6)/x

Then root3 = (h+1.6)/x

As x=h so we can write it as

h root3 - h= 1.6

h(root3-1) = 1.6

h= 1.6/(root3-1)
