- A gas does not have a fixed volume.
- This is because gases have very less or negligible force of attraction between it's molecules and also the intermolecular space is very large.
- So , it occupies all the volume of the vessel or container it is kept in as its molecules spread everywhere.
- So it cannot have a fixed volume as it's molecules are not packed .
