Here,

The emperical formula mass is:12+16=28g

The molecular mass is:2(vapour density)=2×56=112g

Now,

n=Molecular mass/Emperical Mass

=114/28

=4

Now,

The molecular formula would be,

(CO)n

=(CO)4

=C4H4
