No.of roses bought= 240

1 dozen = 12 units..

No.of Dozens of roses = 240/12 = 20 Dozens

Purchase price Per dozen = 9

Total purchase price

= No.of Dozens × cost per dozen

= 20 × 9

=180 Rupees .Cost price= 180

Selling price Per Rose = 1 rupee

Total selling price

= no.of roses × selling price Per Rose

=240 × 1

=240 rupees ; selling price

selling Price > cost price

So ..profit exists

Profit

= selling price - cost price

= 240 - 180

=60 rupees

Profit Percentage

= (Profit/cost price) ×100

=(60/180)×100

=6000/180

=30%

→ no. of roses brought - 240

1 dozen = 12 items

∴ 240 = 240/12 = 20 dozens

→ now..  cost of 1 dozen = 9 rupees

∴ cost price of 20 dozen

= 9×20

= 180 rupees

now.. according to the question

selling price of 1 rose = 1 rupees

∴ selling price of 240 roses = 1×240 = 240 rupees

profit = selling price - cost price

= 240- 180

= 60

profit % = (profit÷cp) × 100

=(60÷180) × 100

= 33.3333%
