Hii Dear,

◆ Answer -

V2 = 160 ml

◆ Explaination -

# Given -

V1 = 200 ml

V2 = ?

P1 = 0.820 bar

P2 = 1.025 bar

T = 20 ℃

# Solution -

According to Boyle's law,

P ∝ 1/V

So at constant temperature,

P1 / P2 = V2 / V1

V2 = P1.V1 / P2

V2 = 0.820 × 200 / 1.025

V2 = 160 ml

Hence, the gas will occupy 160 ml.

Hope this helps you.
