To solve it we must first make sure that the Celsius scale is changed into Kelvin's

To convert from Celsius to Kelvin's we add 273

Therefore

25°C + 273 = 298 K

The formula is

P1×V1/T1 = P2 V2/T2

P stands for pressure , V stands for volume and T for temperature

745 × 250/298 = x × 200/298

The new pressure is denoted by x since it is unknown

625 = 200/298x

We multiply both sides by the recipricol of 200/298 x

625 × 298 /200 = x

X = 931.25 mmHg

That is the new pressure but we have been asked the additional pressure needed

Additional pressure = final pressure - initial pressure

931.25 - 745 = 186.25 mmhg
