Hey Dear,

◆ Answer -

Molar mass of unknown gas = 33.16 g/mol

◆ Explaination -

Let M1 be molar mass of CO2 and M2 be that for unknown gas X.

According to Graham's law of diffusion-

Rate(CO2) / Rate(X) = √(M1 / M2)

M2 = M1 × [rate(X) / rate(CO2)]²

M2 = 44 × (95.5 / 110)²

M2 = 33.16 g/mol

Therefore, molar mass of unknown gas is 33.16 g/mol.

Thanks dear...

Answer:

M2 = M1 × [rate(X) / rate(CO2)]²

M2 = 44 × (95.5 / 110)²

M2 = 33.16 g/mol
