by using Dalton's law of partial pressure :
total pressure of mixture × mole fraction of N2 = partial pressure of N2
so, 5.3 × mole fraction of N2 = 4.2
mole fraction of N2 = 4.2 / 5.3 = 0.79
total pressure of mixture × mole fraction of N2 = partial pressure of N2
so, 5.3 × mole fraction of N2 = 4.2
mole fraction of N2 = 4.2 / 5.3 = 0.79
