in the first stanza the bangle sellers are selling their merchandise in the temple fair. here the sellers are investing themselves in the bangles to sell them to the people in able to feed their families and try their hardest by touting.
in the second stanza there are bangles of silver and blue which are meant for a maiden-an unmarried girl. the girl dreams of marriage and are about to enter womanhood and becomes excited and starts to blushed like the flowers that are about to bloom.the girl here is compared to a bud of a flower.
in the third stanza, there are bangles which are yellow golden meant for her on the day of her marriage and some are in red-the color which resembles her heart's desire but it will also be a sad day for she has to leave her loved ones behind and stay in her husband's home
In the 4th stanza, there are bangles which are purple and gold which are meant for a mother who has journeyed through her life and comes in the middle stage.
