Electrical energy consumed ,E=Power x time
E=2.5 x 8=20KWH
electrical energy consumed in 1 day=20KWH
electrical energy consumed in 30 day=20x 30=600KWH
cost of 1 unit of electricity=Rs 3.50
cost of 600 units of electricity=Rs 3.50 x 600=2100rupees

P = 2.5 kW

t = 8 hours per day

So for one month,

t = 8×30

= 240 h

E = P×t

= 2.5×240

= 600 kWh

= 600 units

Cost of consuming 1 unit = Rs 3.50

So, cost of consuming 600 units = Rs 3.50×600

= Rs 2100
