Focal length of the objective lens, = 15 m =cm

Focal length of the eyepiece,  = 1.0 cm

(a) The angular magnification of a telescope is given as:

15/1

Hence, the angular magnification of the given refracting telescope is 15

saxenayashi890: Its a wrong answer... Correct answer is 78/5

Hey !!

| em / m | = | f₀ / fe |

f₀ = Focal length of objective

fe = Focal length of eyepiece

| m | = 15 × 100 / 1 = 1500

∵ image formed is inverted

 ∵ Angular magnification = + 1500

Good luck !!
