A girl distributed some sweets on her birthday. The half of the sweets she had were distributed
in her class and three-fourth of the remaining were distributed in the bus. The rest 20 were
distributed among her friends living in the neighbourhood. Find the number of sweets she had.​

see, we have given that,

1/2 sweets were distributed in class

3/4 of remaining were distributed in bus

and rest 20 were distributed to her friends i.e.1/4 of remaining sweets were distributed to her friends.

hence,

20=1/4 of remaining sweets

:. 20×4=80

hence, 80-20 =60

60 sweets were distributed in bus.

and,

1/2 sweets were distributed in her class.

so,

80×2=160

hence,

total she was having 160 sweets

from those she gave 1/2×160=80 to her classmates

and 3/4×80=60 sweets she gave to the bus friends

and the rest 20 sweets she distributed to her friends.
