Explanation:

Answer :

In this question a girl was driving a car from her home to the hospital

so the given data is

Distance = 12 km

time = 18 min = 18/60 hr

speed = distance/time

v = 12×60/18

= 2×60/3

= 40 km/hr

now the average speed of the car was 40 km/ hr

in the second part we are asked that what would happen if she returned 7:30 min after she left .

so here the average speed will remain same because car is the same .

But the velocity will be changed

velocity is = Total displacement /

time

velocity = 0/15 min

velocity = 0
