a girl empties a cylindrical bucket, full of sand, of base radius 18 cm and height 32 cm, on the floor to form a conical heap of sand. if the height of the conical heap is 24 cm then find its slant height correct up to one decimal place.

Therefore, Volume of conical heap= 1/3πr^2h

r^2 = 32585.1429×7×1/22×1/8

r = √1296

r = 36 cm.

l = √r^2+h^2 (Whole Root)

= √1296+576

= √1872

l = 43.26

Since, we have to find its value to one place of decimal, the answer will be 43.3cm.
