Let the girl's age be x

Let her father's age be x + 28

ATQ,

x + x + 28 = 50

2x + 28 = 50

2x = 50 - 28

2x = 22

x = \frac{22}{2}

x = 11

Girl's age => x => 11 years

Father's age => x + 28 => 11 + 28 => 39 years

hello

let father's age is X

let girl's age is X - 28

given sum = 50

x+ x-28 = 50

2x-28= 50

2x = 50+28

2x = 78

X= 78/2

X = 39.

hence father's age is X = 39 years

girl age is x-28 = 39-28 = 11.

girls age is 11 years.

hope it helps you.
