The time period of swing remains unchanged if another girl sits beside the girl sitting on a swing.

The time period of oscillation of swing is given by

              T=2\pi \sqrt{\frac{l}{g} }

              T = time period of oscillation of swing

               l = length of the swing

               g = acceleration due to gravity

From the formula we can conclude that time period is independent of mass of girl.

∴ The time period remains unchanged.
