if the rock is move .then we can say work is done. or if the force applied on the rock

here in this case if the rock will move, then work Is done but if she she doesn't succeed in it then no work is done.
Its coz work done dependents on 2 things ie :-
1.) Force should be applied
2.) Due to that force displacement of that obj should take place
If these 2 things r there then only we can say that work is done otherwise not. Eg. If u r studying for a long time then also no work is done but if ur younger bro or sis is playing with a toy car then work is done ( acc to sci, not acc to students. we r learning this but then also for sci no work is done !!)
