The area of contact of one shoe with the ground is 160 cm².

To find,

The pressure exerted by the girl on the ground.

Solution,

Force per unit area is equal to area.

Two show will have area of 320 cm² or 0.032 m².

So, Pressure,

$P=\dfrac{F}{A}\\\\P=\dfrac{550\ N}{0.032\ m^2}\\\\P=17187.5\ Pa$

So, 17187.5 Pa of pressure is exerted by the girl on the ground.
