In the given case if the atom has 3 protons so its atomic number is 3 and its mass number is number of protons + number of neutrons equal to 3 + 4 equal to 7 also it has 3 electrons to balance the charge of 3 protons present in its nucleus so we got that the given atom has atomic number 3 and mass number 7 so it must be lithium

Number of protons in atom is three which means its atomic number is also three and we can identify that the atom is lithium.

Number of neutrons is 4 and number o protons is three therefore its mass number is = 4+3=7

Number of electrons is 3
When we will fill it in shells respectovely they will be filled in following order

K L
2 1

Which means its valency is 1
It means that the atom will lose 1 electron to satisfy its outer shell

We know the atom which loses its electrons gain positive charge
Therefore we can say that the charge on atom will be +1
