as we know that resistance of a wire is directly proportional to its length.
therefore when length is doubled that is "l" becomes "2l" then resistance also gets doubled "2r".
again when "2l" is doubled then it becomes "4l" and thus resistance becomes "4r".

Answer:
The length of wire is doubled on itself and so the area get reduced to half. The resultant resistance will be 4 times.
The process is repeated and therefore the resistance will increase by 4 times. The total resistance will be increased to 16 times.
