Godown can store 8000 boxes.

•Godown is a cube of side(a) = 40m

•Volume of cube = a³

•Volume of godown = 40×40×40

•Volume of godown = 64000m³

•Box is also a cube

•Volume of box = 8m³

•Let Godown can store n boxes

•Volume of Godown = n × Volume

of one box •64000 = n × 8

•n = 64000/8

•n = 8000

•Godown can store 8000 boxes.

8000 cubical boxes can be stored in the godown.

• Volume of cube = side*side*side

• Given,

side of godown = 40 m

then,

volume of godown = 40*40*40

= 64000 m cube

volume of cubical boxes = 8 m cube

• Number of cubical boxes that can be stored in the godown

= (volume of godown) / (volume of cubical box)

= 64000/8

= 8000
