A golden - coloured cube is handed to you. The person wants you to buy it for '1 lac, saying that is a gold nugget. You pull out your chemistry textbook and look up gold in the mineral table and read that it's density is 19.3gcm3 . You measure the cube and find that it is 2 cm on each side and weighs 40 g . what is it's density ? is it gold? should you buy it?

Density is equal to mass/volume
so mass is 40 g
and volume is a^3 or A cube
so A is 2
A^3 =2^3 =8
so density will be mass/volume
40/8 gcm3 =5 gcm3
so it is not an gold
we should not buy it
thanks I hope this will help u
